Webcambooth is operated by Zhentao Wen as a free personal side project. These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Webcambooth regarding use of the service.

Webcambooth provides a browser-based photo booth tool that allows you to take photo strips using your webcam, apply vintage film filters, and save or download the results. The service operates entirely in your browser.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice. We are not liable for any such changes.

All photos and photo strips you create using Webcambooth belong entirely to you. We do not claim any ownership, license, or rights over any content you produce with the tool.

• Your photos are stored only on your own device in browser localStorage.
• We do not access, store, or transmit your photos.
• You are solely responsible for the content you create and how you use or share it.
• You must ensure you have the right to photograph any people or subjects that appear in your photos.

You agree not to use Webcambooth to:

• Create or distribute illegal content, including non-consensual intimate imagery
• Photograph individuals without their knowledge or consent
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the service
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law
• Submit offensive, false, or misleading nicknames to the public leaderboard

We reserve the right to remove leaderboard entries that violate these terms without prior notice.

The public leaderboard is an optional feature. By joining the leaderboard, you agree that:

• Your chosen nickname will be publicly visible to all visitors of the site.
• Your strip count will be publicly displayed alongside your nickname.
• We may remove any leaderboard entry that contains offensive, misleading, or inappropriate content.
• You can rename or remove your entry at any time from the leaderboard page.

The Webcambooth name, logo, interface design, and source code are the intellectual property of Zhentao Wen. You may not reproduce, copy, or redistribute any part of the site without written permission.

Webcambooth is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantees that:

• The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times
• The service will work on every device, browser, or operating system
• Photo strips saved in localStorage will be retained indefinitely
• Any bugs or issues will be fixed within a particular timeframe

Your use of Webcambooth is entirely at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zhentao Wen and Webcambooth shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service, including but not limited to loss of photos or data stored in your browser.

Since Webcambooth is a free service with no payment involved, our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed zero dollars (USD $0.00).

Webcambooth may contain links to third-party websites (such as zhentaowen.com, GitHub, or Google). These links are provided for convenience only. We have no control over the content or privacy practices of those sites and accept no responsibility for them.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Taiwan (R.O.C.), without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Taiwan.

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of Webcambooth after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
